Double (looped) Monofilament Nylon with Swaged-on Cruciate Needle has a double nylon swage allowing the surgeon to pass around the lateral fabella only once to place 2 suture lines.

Once the nylon suture is placed then the suture loop is cut ½ way to give the 2 separate lines.

This saves time as well as reducing soft tissue trauma of the extracapsular stifle region with multiple attempts to pass needle and suture around the fabella.
